Tour Meeting

The meeting place is at the Nakamachi Port ferry exit in Etajima. For the tour schedule, please arrive at this port by 10:14 AM. (You'll need to catch the ferry from Hiroshima Port at 9:45 AM). The guide will explain the entire tour schedule and how to use the e-bike.

Start with a scenic introduction

We’ll head to the first spot, where your guide will provide a brief overview of Etajima’s history, geography, and culture. We’ll spend some relaxing time on the beach to start the day.

We'll visit the Nomi Farmers' Market, a local stand where Etajima farmers sell freshly harvested seasonal vegetables every morning. You'll get to enjoy the ingredients at their most flavorful.

Meet up Fisherman in Etajima

Etajima is a rich fishing island surrounded by the calm waters of the Seto Inland Sea. Traditional fishing methods like set-net and drift-net fishing are still practiced here today. We can chat with the local fishermen and get some ingredients from them, too.
